Our cousin Charlie Caye looked beautiful and shined brightly as she confirmed her faith after 3 years of preparation.

Jackie--4 months old!

A picture is the expression of an impression.  If the beautiful were not in us, how would we ever recognize it?       --Ernst Haas

At 4 months old, Jackson can...roll over, laugh and smile, talk/babble/coo, follow voices with his head and know who is talking, listen to conversations intently, sleep through the night (yay!!), grab things and hold on to them, hold things and pull them to his mouth.  He is acquiring new skills every day.  And he loves interaction with people and the great outdoors!  He brings all of us so much joy!

There have been some gorgeous skies here in the desert lately.  The weather is starting to get beautiful and outdoor strolls have become a part of our regular routine.

Here's a video of Jackie with Kayleigh playing peekaboo.  He soooo loves his big sister.

Jackson Rolls!

Today--just one week shy of his 4 month birthday--our sweet little boy ROLLED OVER for the first time!  I thought it was going to take him longer to master it, but he is a boy on the MOVE, let me tell ya.  He thinks he's going to skip crawling and go straight to running.  He was so proud of himself as you will be able to tell from all his squealing.
We call this the "Jackson Jelly Roll."

Jackie has also discovered how much fun laughing can be.  But the one who makes him laugh the most is his Daddy.  It is the sweetest thing ever.  I love this.

Golden Anniversary--Ed and Theresa!

HAPPY 50th Wedding Anniversary
Ed and Theresa Witek

They say in love you see yourself through the eyes of someone dear,
and know that you will feel complete whenever they are near.

They say you know it's truly real when all you want to do,
is smile and make life better for the one who walks by you.

When God made your hearts and hands join, He saw a perfect fit,
And through the years your love still glows--a light that's always lit.

Like a farmer tends his fields, and a gardener grows her crop,
The countless efforts you both give yield harvest that does not stop.

To "love, honor, and cherish"--the vows you promised each other,
made man and woman into husband and wife, then to father and mother.

From one love grew a family, and the lives you've touched are vast,
Children and grandchildren, are gifts that are meant to last.

Through life's seasons, pain, and challenges you've met along the way,
You always weathered the storm together, and never forgotten to pray.

Now fifty years together marks a milestone sought by many,
and all your journey's blessings can't be measured by the penny.

So here's to you two sweethearts--we're so glad in love you fell
Congratulations, Ed and Theresa, we love you and wish you well!

He's not the Gerber baby, but...

When our friend Ruthie was here visiting, we had an impromptu photo session.  She sweetly captured our little baby boy's most unique expressions.  She really has a love and a special talent for this.  Ruthie, the credit is all yours--you did an awesome job!  Thank you so much for giving us a gift we will always remember!
